Six Weeks In
We are about six weeks in to sugar-free living. Reality, we aren't sugar-free.
We will never be 100% sugar free. We are simple sugar free at home. We are white breads free. We are sweets free 99% of the time. We eat more veggies. We eat more fish. We eat red meat about 2-3 times per month. We eat chicken. We eat 90% organic. We eat quinoa. We eat whole brown rice. We are pasta free. We take supplements (multi-vitamins, magnesium, zinc, calcium, turmeric, milk thistle, protein shakes and amino acids). We eat steel cut oats. We eat albacore tuna. We drink craft beer. We eat massive amounts of raw almonds and pistachios.
We workout 3-5 times a week. Cardio and weight lifting.
Results....
Hubby is down 14+ pounds. He states he doesn't feel a whole lot different.
I am down 10 pounds. I've gained muscle and definition I've not seen since my freshman year of college. I've lost inches, but couldn't give you numbers as I never measured. I definitely crave the gym if I miss a day or two. Lifting free weights is hands down my favorite thing to do. Muscles are awesome and seeing how you can change your body on your own accord is motivating. If I eat a bite of frosting, I will have an instant head ache, so I don't.
So, this is our lifestyle. Six weeks in.
