2011 Achievement

Looking back on my 2011, I realized, I actually achieved one of my 2010 goals (you know I dislike resolutions, so I call them goals)!!!!!  So here goes, a look back on 2011....

1. Take my family to Disney! (check...May of 2011)

2. Stop drinking coffee, soda, caffeine. (check...March 22, 2011)
Looks like I did ok for a while, but alas, I caved.  I only did it to see if I could.  I did for about 3 months and picked it back up again.  I don't need one everyday, so I could kick it again if I wanted.  Which, I don't.

3. Try new recipes, one a week. (check...I started and have done quite well)
I would have to do some digging to see how many I really made, but Pinterest has changed my life!  I try new recipes at least once a week.  The problem is, my family misses some of the "staple" recipes we are used to.
Stuffed Mushrooms
Rigitoni
PF Cheng's Lettuce Wraps
Pancake mix Muffins
Pretzel Cookies
Fruit Trifle
PW Scones
Almond Bark Treats
PW Sour Cream Noodle Bake
Refrigerated Roll Waffles
Muffin Tin Egg McMuffins
Smore Bars
And many, many more!!!!

4. Run a 5K.  (Check...September 17, 2011)
My friends and I ran/walked a 5K to raise money for Pregnancy and Infant Loss.  Something that runs near and dear to our hearts.  We ran in honor of Dylan, Joey, Henry, and Kayden.  It was an emotional day and so thankful we did it!

5. Learn to sew, knit, and play piano.
Some goals, I am working on.  Perhaps at least one of these should make the list for this year?

6. Travel the World.
We are working on it.  This year, if money allows, we would like to make a trip to Louisiana to see my grandparents.  This would not help towards The goal, as we made the trip approx. 10 years ago.  However, my grandparents are not getting any younger.  Not sure if I will ever check this completely off, but we sure are going to have a ton of fun trying!

7. Keep a cushion in the savings account. (working on it)
With Disney. my unexpected gall bladder surgery, and Aaron in school, it depleted.  I will add this to 2012's list as well!

8. Debt free. (have a couple medical bills)
By February 1st, we should have this accomplished (with the exception of student loans)!!!!

All in all, we had a great year of achievement!  Looking ahead to 2012 is exciting!!!!!
