Love Makes Good Impressions
Greet one another with a kiss of love. – 1 Peter 5:14
Today's Dare
Think of a specific way you’d like to greet your spouse today. Do it with a smile and with enthusiasm. Then determine to change your greeting to reflect your love for them.
The way I greet Aaron, look forward to seeing Aaron, or saying good bye to Aaron has weighed heavy on me recently. Even before reading todays task. We have been in a slump. Simply saying, "see ya later," and walking out the door. When arriving home, it's been, "hey, how are you?" "Good." Off to the evenings tasks. Whoopy ding dong! No excitement, not even a kiss in either direction. Horrible! Sometimes, not even a kiss good night! How lazy have we gotten? *roll eyes*
This weekend, we changed this behavior! Thank the Lord! Now it's excitement to see one another and a hug and kiss to boot. This weekend it's "have fun...KISS! See ya later....KISS!"
God, please don't let us get in the slump again. Please let us show our affection and appreciation often!
For I have come to have much joy and comfort in your love. (Philemon 7)
