What a busy week...
Monday, I brought Allie into the Dr. once again! The poor girl. She has a sinus infection and is now on amoxicillan. It seems to be doing the trick. She has perked up quite a bit.
I also had the joy of playing Monopoly with my son. He is a little whiz kid! He thrives on the mathematics needed to play the game. It's fun to watch him.
In the midst of it all, I did laundry. Lots, and lots of laundry. Close to ten loads to be exact! AND I put it away. When Aaron got home, he asked where all the hangers are. I said, in use! Amazing how many more hangers we could use if all the laundry is actually clean!
Tuesday, I went for a follow up on my CPAP machine. It went well. I do have sleep apnea, so it was nice to hear they will have my machine set at a steady rate now. I also got a new, smaller mask and it fits much better.
I once again played Monopoly with my son. He loves the one on one attention and I don't mind the game.
Today, I dropped Allie off at the in laws and then headed to my therapy appointment.
Therapy...
I won't go into too many details as others do read this, but it is changing my life! I look forward to who I will become in a year! I meet with my therapist once a week and he currently has me reading, Codependency No More. I'm just getting into it, so as I do, I will be posting more about it. I'm also setting some goals with him, which is kind of exciting. We are going to work on me not being codependent and what that is and how life will be in the future. I'm also working on my anger and disrespect towards my husband. The disrespect, well I've been working on that for some time now and it is a conscience thing I have to force myself to do. Mostly, it is changing the way I talk to Aaron. It's tough to start over, but thankful I'm doing it now and not 5 years from now. This week, I'm going to try and respect Aaron, and work through the first chapter or two in the book. Wish me luck!
After therapy, I was off to Sonic! Mmmmm....diet coke with cherry flavoring. Then, off to work.
Work tonight has been busy! The phone has been ringing non stop! Oh well, that's my job.
