Timing is God's Business
He comes in the midnight hour. His timing is perfect. He controls the timing of every event.
Last week, we hit the one month mark to our move to Florida!
Sounds so very exciting, which it is, but for me it meant one month to pack, one month to find a place to live, one month to raise money, one month to find a school for my kids, one month to say good bye, one month to cram it all in!
One Month
July 3rd, I learned I have an in-person interview on Aug. 15th in Florida.
July 9th, I gave a one month notice to both of my employers.
July 9th, one of my sweet out-of-state NICU babes was in town, which gave our families an opportunity to say good by, see ya later.
July 10th, we continue frantically looking for a place to live.
July 12th...
ONE MONTH
Ok, now it is time to panic, err, trust God with all my heart and not lean on my own understanding! Know His timing is PERFECT!!!!
July 13th, I cried out! I turned to God and I said to Him with as much power as I have, "I KNOW you come in the midnight hour. THIS IS MY midnight hour! It may not be YOUR midnight hour, but it is MINE! Please God provide a place to live! Thank you and AMEN!"
Can you hear me pleading? Begging? Demanding? Trusting? Leaning?
I know God doesn't care for our demands, but I also know He knows my heart. He knows what I can handle. He knows my breaking point. He knows what I need and when I need it.
He controls the timing of every event.
July 14th, we have a place to live!!!!!
The perfect place in the perfect little town with perfect timing.
His perfect timing.
