It's Friday!
Normally, Fridays mean nothing to me. I work every other weekend, my hubby works on Saturday mornings and some Sunday evenings, and the kids hardly have school on Fridays. It's really just another day. However, I am hoping after Tuesday, Fridays will have a whole new meaning for our family! For on Tuesday, I have another job interview. I'll be honest, this interviewing, looking for a new job thing is stresssssful! I have a job, I love my job, but I really hate my hours. Evenings and weekends have got to go!
I was looking for part-time days, but after much deliberation (writing down all of the places and amounts monies leave my checking account), I realized full-time is what my family needs right now to get off the financial rollercoaster (it's not as fun as the Wild Thing). So, here is hoping for a new adventure soon! In the meantime, it's FIVE QUESTION FRIDAY FUN with Mama M.!
1. How often do you shave your legs in the winter?
Great question! You see, I am of Swedish decent (my hair is blonde). My father has all of 2 hairs on his legs. Therefore, I shave about once a month, if that. Now you know way more than you wanted to.
2. Valentine's Day cards for your spouse: funny or romantic?
Both, depends on my mood and if it fits our marriage. No flowers though, they just die. We usually go out for dinner or lunch. This year, I have the day off and he has to work, so we are meeting for lunch. I can't wait to have a few moments alone. I hope he doesn't read this...I plan to make homemade cream puffs and chocolate sauce while he's at work for after the kiddos are in bed (may even pick up a romantic comedy). His favorite.
3. What are you most looking forward to about spring?
Getting some walks in, planting a garden and some flowers, green grass, and green leaves.
4. What's your favorite way to pamper yourself?
Getting my hair done. Cut, color, scalp massage...LOVE!
5. Does your tax return go into savings or do you spend it instantly?
Depends on our needs. Some goes to savings, always!!! Last year we went to Disney World!!!! This year, we have a vehicle to fix. Yah us!
