Five Question Friday
It happened!!!!!! Fridays have a whole new meaning for our family!!!!! I accepted a new position, which I start March 5th!!!! Yes!!!!! I'm excited!!!!!! I will be working Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.....DAYS!!!! I will get to have dinner with my family, put my kids to bed every night, be at Bible Study every Wednesday, help Aaron in his ministry, spend weekends with family and friends, and even sneak in a date night once in a while!!!!!!! Excited doesn't begin to describe how full my heart is! So, yes, Fridays are a day I will look forward to, not only for 5QF with Mama M., but also for the weekend! So, here is to my new adventure! Oh and in case you were wondering, I will still be casual in the NICU. I'd miss those babies too much!
Moving on....
1. What do you do when you are really upset to calm yourself down?
Go for a walk, drive, or run. Whatever removes me from the situation and gives me sometime with God and/or friend to talk it out. It's been a looooong time since I was really upset. Thank the Lord!
2. Do you go all out for V-day or is it just another day?
Neither. We buy the kids a little something. We get each other a card. We try to go for lunch or dinner alone. I try to make dessert at home. We always show appreciation for each other, all four of us! Valentine's Day is a special day to treat one another special.
3. Are you more or less productive when Hubs is away?
Tough one. I'd say we are fairly equal these days. I'm more organized and keep everyone on task, but he does most the work. I used to say ME! But, I have to say, Aaron has really stepped up to the plate! I'd also have to say, I've let go of my need for control! Together...we rock!
4. What is your favorite time of day and why?
Hmmm...Night. I enjoy my time after the kids are in bed. I play WWF, watch tv, hang out with Aaron. Mostly, I enjoy the quiet, peacefulness. Especially, when the house is spotless.
5. What is your go to karaoke song?
My hubby's favorite is, "I t*o*u*c*h myself." Bwahahaha! His friends trick him into doing that one or "Like a V*RG*N." and we laugh and laugh! Me, I'm not a karaoke kind of girl. I love to sing, but no one loves to listen.
