Blessings
He gives and takes away. He orchestrates. He controls. He loves. God, He's pretty awesome!
Back in June, God began a stirring in us. We started feeling like He was moving us on. He closed doors I never thought would close. It hurt. It hurt bad. Then, we started seeing Him opening doors. Doors we never would have opened. Eventually, He brought us back to our first church. He brought us back where I was saved and Aaron had attended since he was 2. He brought us back where Jonathan was dedicated. He brought us back to where people prayed Allie would be conceived. He brought us back home.
The transition for me was tough. I pressed on. We were obedient in what God wanted for us, not what we wanted.
With obedience, comes blessings! Blessings I never thought fathomable. Blessings I am so thankful for!
1. Aaron was hired on at the church and thus creating more income for us. Thank you, Jesus!
2. I am reconnecting with old friends. Thank you, Jesus!
3. I was able to host a table at our women's event. Something I've never done before and it stretched me. By hosting a table, I was able to invite who I wanted to have sit at my table. My mom and my sister came along with many friends. Having a night out with my mom and sister was priceless. I only wish my other sister could have come. Maybe this year.
4. In January, my son was baptized! He came to us and asked. He knew why he wanted to grow in his faith this way and we were so proud of him! He is an awesome kid!
5. God provided a van for us. I had seen the van I wanted on Craig's List, but when Aaron called it had sold. We went to a place my friend recommended. Sparkle Auto was the place and they were amazing! They had THE van there! The exact one I wanted off CL! Only this one had fewer miles, a VHS player (it's an older van), and Allie exclaimed, "we are buying it!" Which she was right. We purchased the van for $500 less than the gal on CL wanted. God provided!
6. The van broke down 4 days later and we brought it back. Keep in mind, we purchased it as is!!!! They fixed it, parts and labor, FREE!!!!!! That is some awesome customer service! I'm not here to advertise for them, not paid to what so ever. I'm just saying, if you need a used vehicle under $5000...it is THE place to go!
7. I'm reconnecting with someone and it means the world to me! I do not think this would happen without much prayer.
8. I have been looking for a job since November. On Feb. 15th, I was offered a dream position. I'm soooo excited! DAYS!!!! I can have dinner with my kiddos, and put them to bed every night! I can help Aaron at church and attend Bible study! I'm extatic!
9. The timing of the position...perfect! Amazing perfection, only God can do!
I'm sure I have missed a blessing or two along the way, but I didn't miss giving God the glory!
