Always Something

Never a dull moment in the household.  In the past week, both kids have made their way to the Dr. office.

Jonathan has a loss of hearing in his right ear.  After an audiology appointment and ENT appointment, he will be getting tubes put in soon.  His tonsils are a tad swollen, but the Doc seems to think he will grow into them and have no issues.  We will know by the age of twelve if a tonsillectomy is needed.  He also has a larger adnoid, but due to him headed for another growth spurt, the Doc feels it will correct itself.  Thank the Lord as the healing for tubes is NOTHING!

Allie found out on Sunday, after a trip to urgent care, she has what they like to call a "reactive airway."  Better known as asthma, but they don't like to throw labels on kids.  So, we are doing neb treatments 4X/day and prednisone once a day.  She seems to be responding well.  We will be taking her in for further testing in the coming weeks.

It's always something over here.  Always something.
