Night Before

Twas the night before school and all through the house mama is busy preparing (so doesn't rhyme).

Tomorrow morning, my kids will awake as a fourth grader and kindergartener.  Where on earth does the time go?  

The fourth grader spent the night restless in his room.  He, unfortunately, has anxiety about his first day back.  Daddy laid and rubbed his back until he was sound asleep.  Praying he wakes well rested and ready to start the year.

The kindergartener dashed into bed without a fuss and was sound asleep in no time at all.  She, fortunately, cannot wait to start her first day!  Praying she wakes and is patient as she doesn't start till afternoon.

Daddy is fast asleep as he too is off to school and work (at the great MN get together) tomorrow.

Mama on the other hand, is much like the fourth grader, restless.  My heart is a bit heavy tonight as we all start new beginnings.  Prayerfully, I won't miss all of them too much.  Prayerfully, I adjust to my quiet home.  Prayerfully, the kindergartener enjoys school as much as she anticipates.  Prayerfully, the fourth grader adjusts.  Prayerfully, daddy will have a great day.
