A-mazing Year!

Aaron and I celebrated our 11 year anniversary this past month.  Every year, we look back on our previous year together and evaluate our marriage.  This past year has been THE best year by far!!!!  Which is surprising since, he lost his job, went to school full-time, decreased his income by 70%, and became more of a stay at home dad.  Meanwhile, I remained a point 6 at work and have picked up as many extra shifts as I can.  He has also taken on 99% of the laundry, 100% of the yard work, 75% of the parenting, and 90% of dishes.  While I, do 98% of the grocery shopping, 100% of budgeting, 65% of the income, 25% of the parenting and 100%  of the weekly deep clean.  I'm not keeping score, and the %s are approximate.  My point is, we have seriously switched roles!

What's more shocking, we have not had any finger pointing, complaining of switched roles, lack of team work, or any fighting.  Our house has been amazingly peaceful!  I cannot tell you how or why this year has been A-mazing, other than we are 100% in God's will!!!!  What an awesome place to be.
