Actively Waiting

I learned a little something about myself this past week.  If I am going through something big, I tend to isolate myself and distance myself from those who know me best.  I guess I was a little shocked to hear this, but it's true.  Subconsciencously (is that a word?), I shut out and pull in.  I think it's because I'm afraid of saying something before I really know what is taking place.  Revealing the masterpiece before it's time.

So, I withdraw.

Inside, I'm being ripped apart, dying to share what is going on within.  Yet, I don't really know what that is.

Sometimes, God allows things to happen.  He shuts doors.  He opens doors.  He tugs.  He pulls.  He removes.  He places.  He knocks.  He listens.  He speaks (although not as loud as I'd like).

Right now, I (we) are actively waiting on God.  We know where we want to be and what we want to do, but where He wants us, and what He wants for us is our true heart's desire.

So, we wait.

When the time is right you can share it all. In the meantime, while you are waiting, it will be hard but just continue to obey God. He will bring you to what ever it is you are meant to experience next.

Waiting is hard though so remain strong.
