Mama's Tears and School Years

See my girl on the far side by the window?
This was her first 45 minutes with her Kindergarten class.  Surprisingly, I didn't cry!
She is one of the two smallest in the class, but size doesn't matter when pride takes over.  She waltzed off with her teacher only looking back for a quick wave.  She knew what was coming...play time with new friends, art work, and storytime.  She didn't miss mama or daddy one bit, but the second we walked in the room...she waved with joy!

I'm not ready for my baby to grow up.  I'm not ready for my big guy to grow up either.  Being a mother of two means everything is momentous!  I cried because my first born went to kindergarten and I'll cry because my baby is going to kindergarten.  I'll cry when Jonathan decides we can't cuddle anymore and I'll hold Allie a little tighter.  I'll cry when Jonathan reaches 7th grade and I'll cry harder when Allie does.  I'll cry when my first born graduates and I'll cry more when my baby does.  There is no  inbetween and I'm ok with that.  It just means I am passionate about every single milestone for both of my children and I'll cry more with each one.
