The Big Fall

Remeber this post about Jonathan?  The post of pride when my big guy won two awards at school?  One of the awards was an honorable mention for a creative writing contest.  I said once I had the paper, I would share with you all. 

The Big Fall

On a cold day Max and Amelia were going sledding.  Max was on the sled waiting for Amelia.  When Amelia was pretending to get on, she pushed Max down the hill.  Then Max hit a bump and flew off the sled and broke his arms and legs.  Amelia got grounded for half a year.  Max and his mom and dad got to go to Disney World and Amelia had to stay at her grandma's.  In the end, she finds out she should have been respectful, and got on the sled.

I personally enjoyed a couple things about his writing.  I like his choice of names, adorable.  Also, I'm sure if it had been him doing the pushing, he wouldn't have been grounded for "half a year," nor would he miss out on Disney World. 

I love the mind of my child.
