Meaning Behind My Blog Name 

Just the Four of Us...

For those of you who may not know, we have a baby in heaven due to a "missed abortion," which means I miscarried, but the baby never came out, resulting in a DNC.  Which happens to be one of the worst days in my life.  After we lost Joey, it took us two years to conceive Allie.  Due to high risk pregnancies, difficulty conceiving, and ABO incompatibility, we learned we should not have any more children.  We are not putting God in a box or shutting the door to one day adopt.  However, with all the risks at hand, we did shut the door to having anymore children of our own.  It was much easier for Aaron to accept the fact it is Just the Four of Us.  Me on the other hand, it has and continues to take time.  I love my kiddos, but I think a mama's arms always ache for one more itty bitty baby to hold of her own.  For now, it's Just the Four of Us and I'm OK with that.
