Good Friday is here!  One of my favorite days of the year!  A day that brings tears and tears for me.  The day I reflect on what it means to me, knowing Jesus died on the cross for ME and YOU!  Most people love Easter morning, the day Jesus rose.  For me, Good Friday, the cross, that is my favorite part of the weekend.  Picture me, a sinner.  Picture Him, perfect!  And HE died for ME???!!!!  Blows my mind, brings me to my knees, crying out... "thank you, Lord!  Thank you for loving ME!  Thank you for your grace and mercy and love and protection!  Thank you, Jesus!

 

1. What is your favorite Easter tradition?

 

I work every Easter and this year, I took a vacation day!!!!  

Over the weekend, we decorate eggs (this year with friends), we see my family, his family, and you can guarantee an egg hunt, and Easter baskets the bunny hides.  

 

At home, we put a basket of candy on the table and an envelope with a biblical clue as to where the next egg is.  They continue the hunt for the main egg which holds money for each.  This year, it will hold ten bucks a piece for their Disney funds and a creative note with a date to see if they can figure out that we leave in 31 days (as of now, they think we are going in September),  Not sure what the clues will be this year, but I'm sure it will be fun! 

2. Are you a "shower" or a "long, hot bath" kind of person?

 

Shower every other day and baths every other week to do a pedi and shave my legs with a shower that follows, because I think baths are disgusting!

3. Can you parallel park and if so when is the last time you did it?

 

Absolutely...you have to when you lived in NYC for 10 months!  The last time I did, within the last month.

4. What is your favorite Easter candy?

 

Reece"s Peanut Butter Eggs!!!!  And they have to be the bigger ones with lots of filling!!!!  

5. Easter: do you go all out with the Easter Bunny or focus on the religious part of the holiday?

 

We do both!  Focusing mostly on Jesus dying on the cross and rising again!
