 It's Friday!  It's Friday!  It's Friday!
Which doesn't mean a whole lot when it's my Monday.  I will be working three in a row and I'm kind of looking forward to it.  We started a new computer system while I was out, so I'll have the weekend to master it (a girl can dream).  On another note, I feel AWESOME!!!!  No Tylenol, wearing jeans, no bandages, no pain!!!!!

Now onto, you guessed it....

1. If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be?
One thing?  Really???
Weight...I'm working on it.  Have been for a year, well on and off.  I have a new goal with a friend and I'm confident we will make it happen!

Need for control!  I hate the feeling of not being in control.  I would love to be able to fly by the seat of my pants, but I can't or won't.  Take our vacation coming up, it is all planned!  Where we are staying, where we will eat, times we'll eat, what rides we'll go on and what order we'll do it in.  Some of it needs to be planned out, but I think I'm done looking at itinerary and websites.  It's overwhelming.  I think, "what if I plan it one way and then find out there is an easier or better way?"  When I went with my parents, we didn't have a ride plan, we just wondered through the parks and enjoyed every moment without agendas.  UGH!  Do see the dilemma I have?  Control!

2. Write about a time when you got lost.
We were taking "back roads" to my sister's house and we were all turned around.  Friday nights, in the dead of summer, heading north on 169, is a nightmare!  Being a girl who likes to avoid stop lights and keep moving, we try to take "back roads" when we can.  Something my dad taught me.  I digress.  So, we were lost and here's the kicker...did you read what I'd like to change?  Yeah...need for control!  When you are lost, there is no such word in the dictionary!  You have no control!  Aaron and I ended up in an argument, the kids were cranky from being in the car so long, cell service was not an option, and it was miserable!  We eventually had cell service and called my brother-in-law, who knew exactly where we were.  Needless to say, we sit in traffic now with all the other cabin fevered Minnesotans!

3. Camping or 5 star hotel?
Tough choice.  Do I have to choose?

I'm not sure I've ever stayed in a 5 star?  If I am dreaming, I choose 5 star.  If this is for real, my budget allows for camping!  And honestly, I don't mind that.  And by camping, I mean roughing it!  Pitch the tent, light the logs, bathe in the lake, roast some marshmallows, and lets make Gypsy Gumbo!

4. Have you donated blood?
I have.  Not for a long time.  In fact, I was just thinking I need to donate some plasma or blood soon.  It's been years.  I used to be on meds for asthma and they prohibited me from donating.  My asthma is under control now and meds are no longer needed except for an occasional puff on the inhaler a couple times a year.  So, off to donate I will go.

5. Do you have a budget or do you 'fly by' most months?
A little of both.  I know where 90% of the dollars go and stick to that.  However, there is the other 10% I feel like we blow on this and that.  We pay cash for everything and have not used plastic (except for our cash card) in 6 years!

Head on over to  Mama M's and join in the fun!
