Decision Made
Two weeks ago, while at work, I had what I describe as an "attack." The "attack" eventually subsided and then woke me from my slumber later, early the next morning. The "attacks" cause excrutiating pain to the point of vomiting. The thought crosses my mind to go to the ER with each "attack," but I'm a tough cookie and sweat them out. I should add, the "attacks" have reoccured several times since September of last year.
So, what are these "attacks?" What is causing this excrutiating pain? Gallstones. Apparently, shown in an ultrasound I had last week, my gallbladder is FULL of these little buggers. The largest is 2+ cm.
Today, I went to met with a surgeon. My good friend, Sarah, came with me to offer support and a second set of ears. I am so grateful for her!!!! Side note: Aaron had play practice and couldn't miss it. After meeting with the surgeon, asking a dozen questions, and realzing my bikini days are over, I have made a decision. I will have my gallbladder removed on Friday morning!
Please pray for a quick recovery!
