Update (priorities not in order)

Work...I am done with my 40 hour weekends!!!!  My pocket book will not like that very much at all.  My family, my friends, my sanity, my church life, my sleep schedule, and my exhaustion will be very pleased!  I will still work doubles on Fridays, cutting it down to 32 hours in 3 days, much more tolerable.

School...Jonathan got ALL A's on his last report card, except for music (B+).  We are so proud of him!  Aaron is also doing well after being out of school for 13+ years.  He received B's and C's on his report card last semester.  This semester, he already received an award for his first paper!  Allie is learning more and more each week at Preschool and enjoys being with her friends a couple times a week.  I enjoy teaching Allie, proof reading for Aaron, and assisting Jonathan.

Spiritual...for me...lacking.  This Sunday, God willing, will be my 2nd time in church in 3 months!  On the other hand, our family devotions have been awesome!  We got Jonathan a "Choose Your Own Ending" devotional for Christmas and we all enjoy doing it together.  Jonathan has taken over leading us and he is a great teacher.  It's awesome to see your kids rise up in the things of God!

Quality Time...Aaron and I had a "are we happy with our marriage status quo talk" not too long ago and decided we weren't.  The biggest reason, the lack of quality time (40 hour weekends at work).  We have since remedied that and even managed to slip in an afternoon date.  The 2nd date from the Great Date Experience!  Check it out!  It's a blast.  On this date, we dined at the Winery!  Delicious!  At home, we are shutting off phones and playing games or cuddling and watching a movie.  The kids are getting more quality time too!  Aaron took them to the MN Zoo over the weekend and they all had a great time!

Entertainment...I spent an entire day scrapbooking with my aunt and cousin recently!  It was soooo fun!  I scrapped Jonathan's first month of life.  Oh the memories.  Other entertainment at our home includes games, marathons of Tabitha's Salon Takeover, Parenthood, and lots of cuddling watching movies (it's been way to fridgid to be outdoors).

Projects...Aaron is currently installing a new storm door in our house.  He also changed the brakes in the car this past week...all by himself!  He's not the mechanic or handyman type, so all his hard work is much appreciated!

Family...last weekend, we celebrated my mom's 60th Birthday and her and dad's 40th Wedding Anniversary!  The whole family, my mom's sisters, and cousin all surprised them at Red Lobster!  It was so fun.  The next day, I got a call from my mom stating she was having surgery two days later!  She had a diffibulator placed in her heart.  Talk about scary!  I didn't sleep for two days.  The thought of losing my mom was so overwelming!  Surgery day came and we (Aaron and I) spent the entire day with her, my dad, and sister at the hospital.  Surgery went well and once she was settled in a room for the night, we headed home.  It was so hard to leave her there.  The next day, they sent her home and she is doing GREAT!!!!!  Thank you so much for all your prayers (Twitter and Facebook followers, family and friends)!!!!

VACATION...Our trip to Disney is booked and we are sooooo excited!!!!  The kids know we are going, but they have no idea when!  Our plan is to wake them up, tell them we are going to MOA, and really head to the airport!  We have been planning this for two years and it is so fun to see it happen now.  Disney is running a special right now, if you stay at a Disney World Resort, the kids (ages 3-9) get into the parks for FREE!!!!!!  Check it out HERE!

I think that about sums it up!  Onto another busy week, er, month.
