Five Question Friday

1. What's on the top of your holiday wish list and why?!
Not a thing.
We were blessed with extra hours at work, and sticking to a budget, which resulted in a new TV (1st one in 10 years)! My hubby stayed out all night on Thanksgiving in line at Target and saved nearly $400 on our new TV and other misc. Christmas gifts.
My only wish is to bless others for the remainder of December and into the year to come.
2. What is your favorite Christmas gift from the past?
As a child, my Cabbage Patch Kid. Santa got me one the year they came out. You know, when people were literally killing for them. Santa was mighty good to me that year!
As an adult, my engagement ring and the man who I said yes to 11 years ago!
3. If you had life to do over, what would you be when you grow up?
I wouldn't want a do over. I'm a mama and that was all I ever wanted to be!
4. When do you put up your tree?
The day after Thanksgiving!
This year, the main level tree was up 2 days after and I still need to decorate the lower level. Between work, my Princess's Birthday, and life in general, I have not taken the time or energy to do it. By Dec. 9th, all will be decorated. By Jan. 9th, it will all be torn down and my house will feel very empty again.
5. What is your favorite Holiday?
Christmas, of course! The reminder of Jesus's birth, lights on my Christmas tree, the nativity, the wonder in every child's eye, the savings in stores, the stockings hung by the chimney, the Christmas movies, snow, snowmen, the warmth of a fire, the joy, the giving spirit, the kettles, Toys for Tots, childhood memories, traditions, the Hollidazzle, the 8th floor, MOA, Santa, Christmas cards, sledding, hot cocoa, peppermint in my coffee, Christmas cookies, fondue, family, friends, parties, gifts, McDonald's holiday pies, mistletoe, wreaths...I LOVE it all!!!!!!
