December Recap 2010

December has come and nearly gone and I am trying to catch up, slow down time, something?!  It's flying by way too fast for me.  So hold on to your eyelids cause here's a recap of December for the Four of Us!
We had our annual cookie day with Grandma Kathie AKA Gram Gram/Grandma Anna.
Not sure if more cookies ended up in mouths or on the tray for Christmas, but I do know they all had fun!

We headed out to Mall of America for our annual appointment with Santa!
Allie asked for a Littlest Pet Shop Home (we told her Santa wanted to surprise her due to her asking for so much throughout the year).
Jonathan panicked and asked for a PS3!
They both enjoyed hanging out with the jolly fellow.
Allie participated in our church's annual kids Christmas program.  Hard to believe she'll be with the big kids next year!
We mixed things up a bit this year and had dinner at "Dixies" on Grand Ave.  We had never been to this southern establishment complete with gumbo!  The kids were entertained watching the train round above the bar and LOVED making their own ice cream sundaes complete with a can of whip cream for dessert!
We also took in the light display at Lake Phalen this year.  The kid's favorite was the pirate ship!
The best part of Christmas...PRESENTS!!!!
You know, aside from it being our Savior's Birthday!
Such happy kiddos ready to rip open their presents!
We had a chat with Santa and he came flying down our chimney on December 23rd (mama had to work the rest of the weekend).
Allie's just as excited for Jonathan's John Cena wrist and head bands as he is!!!
In sticking with age old traditions (which we all have a strong appreciation for), we had fondue for our Christmas dinner.
While eating our traditional Christmas dinner, I asked Allie what she thought heaven would be like?
Her response, "I don't know, I've never been there!"
"A Christmas Story" is a staple in our home at Christmas time.
"It's a MAJOR award!"
Christmas with cousins!
This year, I made our parents photobooks and they were a hit!
Nothing says we had a great Christmas like the Grandmas crying!!!!

Hope you all had a great Christmas season!
God Bless,
Jolene
