Date #1

I first learned about The Great Date Experiment from a friend of mine, who pointed me to the blog Appleberry's Attic.  I then decided Aaron and I should embark on The Great Date Experiment ourselves.  You can check it out for yourself here at Married Life Online.  As for me and my incredibly hot date, you can continue reading right here.

We started off our date with the kids snapping pictures of us at home.
Jonathan is quite the photographer.
Allie, not so much.
Then, we kissed and Jonathan snabbed a pic of the wall instead exclaiming, "I'm not taking a picture of that, ewwwww!"
We then, headed up to my sister's work to drop the kids off (thank you, auntie KyKy).  Aaron was starving, so we grabbed an appetizer here.
It was at "Rockwoods Grill," I learned Aaron impressed me in the beginning with his knowledge of music.  It was here, he learned I impressed him by watching wrestling.

We were reminded of our dream to travel the world, and live in Hawaii or Sweden (you know, if money was no object and we didn't care about our family and friends so much!).

We were then back on the road and headed to "The Home of th Juicy Lucy!"
Here we learned that "Matt's Bar" is the only place to get a "Juicy Lucy!"
Do not waste your time and money anywhere else!
We also met two adorable ladies who were there with their hubbies and one son, I think their names were Kay and Marge (if you are reading and I have your names wrong, I am sooooo sorry!)
These two ladies joined us for dinner (the bar is tiny and the table next to us only held the three guys, so we were nice and let them join us).  They honestly made our date one of the most memorable!  These two ladies were so fun!!!!!  So thank you, Kay and Marge!

And thank you for snapping this...

We decided, here at "Matt's Bar," we would rather eat and never gain weight again!  We also would rather take 5 mini vacations and have a vacation home.  We can dream, right?
Next up, a trip to....
We bought one another $2 gifts.
His...we want to travel the world, let's start with an Hawaiian Breeze scented sink strainer (he wants to make a greater effort towards helping out more at home too).  Oh and for dessert, a box of Swiss Cake Rolls (someday, we will make it across the ocean).

Mine...The best decision he made was asking me to marry him.  To represent that idea, a package of light bulbs.  He also gave me Gummi Teddy Bears because they were my favorite snack in the early years of our marriage.

I learned that the one thing he loves most about me is I listen to God and follow through on His plan for us.  I informed him that the one thing I love the most about him is that he goes along with my seemingly cheesy plans and embraces them!

The rest of the date included a park, Starbucks, and dessert (Swiss Cake Rolls).

Now it's your turn!  Take the challenge, your marriage will thank you!
