The List
Every summer, we have a ton of things we'd like to do as a family. This summer was no different. Although, this summer, Jonathan and I made a list. We had never done this before and I'm glad we did. It's fun to look back and see if we made it through. My guess, we made it about 1/2 way.
The List
*Fishing...Jonathan and Aaron joined uncle Jason out on the boat for some fishing. Jonathan caught his first fish too! CHECK
*Mall of America...The kids and I went once and Aaron and Jonathan went with auntie Nikki. CHECK
*Chuck E Cheese...(maybe for Jonathan's Birthday?)
*Camping...does the backyard count? Hopefully, we will really going camping this fall. Let's give it 1/2 a CHECK
*Beach...ahhh, yes, two weeks ago with daddy too! CHECK
*Opening a Savings Account for the kids...(next payday, we will make this happen)
*MN Zoo...(Kids just got free tickets at the MN State Fair. Perhaps next month.)
*Como Zoo...we went with my work and with daddy! CHECK
*Bon fires...we had multiple bon fires. Phew! CHECK
*Friends...we met new friend, hung with the old...CHECK
*Science Museum...oddly enough, the kids went with Grandpa and Grandma the same day mama and daddy went, but not all together! CHECK
*Movie Theater...Jonathan and I saw Alice in Wonderland at the beginning of summer. Jonathan, Aaron, and I saw Shrek last week. CHECK
*Valleyfair...(I'm thinking this is going to wait till next summer, sorry guys.)
*MN State Fair...Opening day! Such an awesome tradition. CHECK
*Moose Mini Golf (MOA)...Jonathan, mama, and Allie golfed there one day at the beginning of summer. I believe mama won! CHECK
*Lilli Put Mini Golf...(nope, didn't make it this year.)
*Nickelodean Universe (MOA)...(Perhaps for their Birthdays?)
*Twins Game...Daddy and Mama went and it was the best date ever! I give it 1/2 CHECK, since the kids didn't get to partake.
*Space Aliens...(hmmm...I guess we should go for dinner one evening. We've never been there.)
*Children's Museum...(Perhaps a free Sunday coming up we could go. Need to mark the calendar)
*Sign up for fall soccer...Cannot wait! CHECK
How'd we do??? 12 CHECKS...That's more than half! Not too bad. I look forward to making CHECK marks on the rest of The List in the weeks to come.
Above all, I love the memories made with each CHECK made on The List!
