My World
Often I find myself using the phrase, "well, in my world..."
My world.
Lately, it has spun around and around and around and I have not sat down to blog about it.
My world.
There was a strike about to take place at my workplace and the fear was high. Fear, for me, of working with strangers for months on end (it was thought to last a looooong time). Fear for my co-workers of losing their jobs. Today, it is all behind us and my workplace is business as usual. For this, I am so thankful.
My world.
Summer is full swing. BBQ's, days in the sun, sprinkler time, slip 'n slide, pool, water, ladder ball, beer, bon fires, wine, hamburgers, hot dogs, potato salad, chips, bike rides, runs, walks, parks, beaches, malls, fireworks, playdates, reading, garage sales, fishing....awwwww summer.
My world.
My husband comes home everyday for lunch. I usually have food on the table and the Cribbage board waiting. I love the time we have together and so do the kids.
My world.
Jonathan is reading a ton this summer and misses school tremendously. I sure hope this is leading up to an easy transition this year. He's having fun, I think he misses the routine of the school year. Perhaps I should remedy that? Nope, he can flow for three months out of the year.
My world.
Allie lives outside. She wakes up, puts a swimsuit on, goes outside, eats, swims, eats, swims, eats, swims, gets ready for bed. Awww... the life of a preschooler.
My world.

My world.
I'm in a funk. In a Spitiual funk. I know God is there, I just don't feel Him right now. It would help if I went to church more than just once a month and read my Bible and not people's Facebook statuses with scriptures in them. I'm a bit envious of those who attended the family camp this week. I love camp. It's a time to get away and focus on what's important. Guess I need to create an "at home" camp and see where God takes me.
My world.
I am loving, I mean LOVING, the Twilight Saga! I only recently saw the first movie and was hooked. I am now on the third book and just saw the third movie. I know vampires and werewolves are meant to be scary, but the love story is so much more enjoyable to me. The books also speak of heaven, hell, and God, and that intrigues me.
My world.
I'm holding steady at 17 lbs lost. Hoping to kick it in high gear again starting Monday. I've fallen off the wagon a bit and desparately need to get back on. I need to eat healthier, exercise more, and drink gallons of water. I will say my workouts are getting easier and I need to get over the fear of jogging on the treadmill. I know, I'm a dork. I just don't want everyone to stare at me as I make thudding noises throughout the gym.
