Strawberry Muffins


Preheat oven to 375
1/4 C Applesauce
1/2 C milk
1 egg
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 C white sugar
1/4 C brown sugar (optional...IF you do not use Flax seed, use 1/4 C of white &1/4 C brown or omit brown all together)
1/4 Flax Seed (optional)
1 1/4 C flour
1/4 C Protein powder (optional)
1 C chopped fresh strawberries
Mix all together and put in muffin pan.  Bake for 20-25 minutes. 12 servings.  Approx. 200 calories each.

**The optional Flax Seed and Protein Powder are very healthy extras and the kids have no idea!  I can hide anything in a muffin and my kids scarf them down.  I made them yesterday and only have 3 left 24 hours later!
