Memorial Weekend/Week

Busy. Busy. Busy.
Fun. Fun. Fun.
Friday night, we headed up to my sister's.  I had called ahead to see what to bring for dinner and offer to bring a bottle of wine.  The guys were heading to the races with the "big" boys and we were having a girls night!  Well, time ran out and I ended up only bringing the buns.  She picked up the bottle and claimed to have chips too....
We each had two chips, it worked.
Here's our fine dining for the night...we kick it high class!

While she was preparing dinner, I ran Grandpa Johnny AKA Grandpa CRABBY to the races.  Seriously, my dad threw a fit like a four year old because he didn't know Aaron and Jonathan were going to the races and was left out.  So, I told him to get his butt in the car and I would drive him.  He did.  Then proceded to tell me how to drive, where to drive, etc.  So, I told him, "dad, you are the one who threw the fit, I'm being nice and driving you, shut up, and enjoy the ride!"  He did not.  The man drove me crazy for the ten minutes we drove together.  Stop here, oh watch out for that guy, slow down now, here pull in here, now drive around here, drop me off, I'll be back, I'm back, now drive around here, ok, now watch that guy, ok, oh, turn here, watch the lawn mower, ok, pull up there, and you can just leave there through the loop de loop, now wait I need to get my stuff, now drive careful. I'm not exaggerating in the least.  I wish I was.  I love the man, but dad, please, please, please, just enjoy the ride!

Sweet, all men are gone!  Now back to my classy girls night!
We took the kids on a four wheeler ride (which a co-worker of mine had no idea what a four wheeler was).  We were out for an hour and it was so fun.  We even seen and tracked deer out in the pit.  Brayden and Allie would run, "here auntie, here mama, here's a track!"  So fun!
No worries, we had a small glass of wine before we left with dinner, and drove less then 10 miles an hour.  No kids were harmed.  My sister is waaaay too much a worry wart for any harm to take place.

When we got back, we played Hand and Foot with my mom and drank some more wine. We had such a fun evening.

The rest of the weekend...
Saturday, the kids had swim lessons, we worked in the yard, had a family unplanned water fight, and went to a 30th Birthday party.
Sunday, we went to church and then headed to Jason and Sabrina's for a BBQ and games.  Jason's mom is in town and it was so nice to finally meet her husband David ( who's hilraious, by the way) after not seeing them for 5+ years!  Cheryl, Jason's mom, just kept saying, "boy does this bring back memories of the boys when they were young."  It annoyed Jason, but I thought it was sweet.
Monday, we went to my in laws for a BBQ and then home to relax.

Wednesday, Kylene and the kids came down and we headed out on a bike ride/ walk to the Lion's Park.  The kids had a blast and so did the mamas!
Busy. Busy. Busy.
Fun. Fun. Fun.
