Kaboom!

Jonathan made a volcano at the end of the school year and has been begging to "blow it up."  We tried to do just that.

After gathering vingegar and baking soda, we headed outside.  We were all waiting intently for the big KABOOM!

It was more of a fizzle.

The boys were a bit disappointed.

So, Aaron added the baking soda to the rest of the vinegar and waited once more for the big KABOOM!

It didn't happen.

So, out came the sparklers and duck tape.

Again we waited for a big KABOOM!

It just sparkled.
