From side of barn to barn door...

That's right folks, I'd love to be the size of a barn door.  Ok, not really, but something needs to change!

I've been overweight my entire life.  I was my thinnest in 1994, you know, at 18!  LOL  I am currently at an all time high, which is about 150 lbs heavier than my lowest (@ 18).  Obviously something needs to change!

Monday, was D day!  I am jumping on the points wagon and following the Weight Watcher's guide (I started 2 years ago and well, I'm 20 pounds heavier, not lighter.  Sticking to it this time!).

My goal is about 80 lbs or so (I will NEVER weigh what I did in college, and that's OK with me!).  My first goal is 28 pounds (starting small and working towards the ultimate goal of 80).

This is me on Saturday, taken by my friend, Tina.  Looks like a good "before" pic to me!

So, how 'bout it, will you all hold me accountable?  I NEED to do this.  For me, my kids, my husband, and I need YOU to help me!

Wow, Jolene...you can do it! You should contact Tara...she's also, trying really hard to lose weight, and I believe she has (or is going to) start a bible study on weight loss!

Go Jolene, go!!!

You are beautiful! But I do know what you mean - it is more of a health issue than an appearance one. You can do it! I'll be cheering you on! :)

I'm here for you!!!! I can't "diet" persay (is that how you spell that?, lol) right now but I CAN (and want to) eat healthy & excercise with you!!!! We need to see if there is a park half way between my house & yours that we could both walk/bike/run/rollerblade to!! That would be awesome!

I actually like the picture of me, thanks for taking it, Tina. However, it's a health risk to remain the size i am, so off it must come! AND it is! I was down 3 lbs on Thursday. I'm super excited and so is my Doc.

Thanks for all your support! I love you guys and appreciate each of you. Here's to working out, meeting at parks, and eating right! ;)
