Where To Go From Here
The call comes in...
"Did you get my text?"
"No"
"I got fired!"
"Ok, it's fine, we're fine, it'll be fine"
"are you OK?"
"yep, 6 women about to walk in the door for mom's group, I'm JUST fine!"
"Oh, hunny, I'm sorry. I forgot you had that today. I'll go to my mom's and apply for unemployment."
"ok, talk later, love you..."
Now what? Where do we go now? Oh, that's right we've been through this before. Off to the County (you know, where they are going to help us get through this tough time). NOPE, not this time! We are over the guidelines by 400 dollars a month, yeah cause we make so much!
Now what? Where do we go now? Oh, that's right...GOD! He's helped us through before, he'll help again!
Did we really skip right to the county office before getting on our knees? Did we put our hope in the government and not in Jesus? What were we thinking?
Time and time again, it's God who has helped us out. And it's God again that will get us through. It already started with 2 bags of groceries and a Caribou card from our "old" friends. How awesome God is! Remember all the blessings from 2008/2009? AWESOME!
I believe whole heartedly God allows things to happen for a reason. When the reason for this unfolds, you will be one of the first to know. Because right now...NO CLUE!
Oh and as to WHY he got fired...I'm sure our family and friends have their speculations (I'd love to hear them, or not)...Aaron was brought into the conference room and was told, "On average over the last 3 months, your numbers were not where they need to be (he's a collector with quotas to meet), so we are terminating you." Blind sided...absolutely. He is getting a bonus check this month, how on earth are his "numbers" not good enough? Speculation from some on the inside...politics! Really? Politics? Well, M&K, YOUR politics have royally screwed with MY life! But, God bless you. I have a feeling I know exactly where to go from here.
