God's Will???
My mind races of the "things of God" quite often. You know... why me? am I truly giving Him my all? Do I worship Him enough? Do I ask too much? Do I give too little? Do I love enough? Does He even give a rip that I asked Him for my daughter to sleep in her own bed? does He give a rip about whether I should take 94 or 35 to work? Does He care about the big things, let alone the little things?
Well, let me be the one to tell you He does care about every itsy bitsy little detail of our lives! How do I know??? Glad you asked!
We have been a TV free family for about 7 months now, by choice. Well, Monday, I had some friends over and they wanted to know why we didn't have TV to enjoy all the Christmas Movies and Festivities. When I told them our story of how we were tired of the crap on TV (mainly cable), they understood. I continued by saying, "If it's God's will (totally tongue and cheek) for us to have television, then our dear friend, David will have a converter box given to him for us, I refuse to pay for tv!" Not a far fetched request for God, since David works for the cable company.
To my surprise, I received a gift of God's will last evening. David showed up at our home with...you guessed it...a FREE converter box!
So, you see God does care about every itsy bitsy little detail of our lives!

(Oh and THAT is the photo of Allie I was talking about. I did it in black and white and am going to put it on my blog someday. Looks like it was one of your favorites, too!!)
