Thankful
This time of year, I might as well buy stock in Kleenex! When I think about the year and all I have to be thankful for, I could sit and cry for hours! Not because I'm depressed this time of year or because I have SAD, but because I am just so thankful!
It seems that each year, I am thankful for the same things, but for different reasons and this year is much the same...
1. Jesus...He is always there, especially when we are not! Stay tuned and you will see...
2. My husband...our marriage was shattered in January! Sexual addiction internet nearly destroyed us. However, God came in and radically changed us individually and in turn or marriage. Aaron has been sexually sober for 10 months and 28 days! Our marriage...never better!
3. My Jonathan...he's an amazing kid with a HUGE heart! His innovation is amazing. He makes me smile every single day, because even after a hard day, we lay down at night and snuggle and forgive!
4. My Allie...Oh man, that girl makes me smile! She is a true gift from God, a miracle really. She turns four this week and her life as the Princess is so wild and free. I wish she'd sleep in her own bed all night long, but I also cherrish waking up next to her each morning.
5. Our home...there is no way we should be in a single family home this year! God always provides.
6. Our therapists...Crazy, I know, but without them, we would not have made it through. They challenge us to be better people!
7. Our extended family...especially Aaron's mom! Not sure what we do without Grandma Daycare! She's the best.
8. Our friends...they have stood by us through a lot this year without judgement, only love and an ear to listen!
9. Our employers...without them, we'd have no job.
10. Our deck...Ok, so this is the first year I've been thankful for my deck. I love sitting out there day and night, it's peaceful.
