A few things we plan to work on...
*When one of us says something, clarify exactly what was said!
*Sit down once a week and look at finances
*The person who does most of the finances should record every bill, how it's paid (write a check, bill pay, automatic, etc), when it's paid, any passwords needed, etc.
*Give a heads up..."honey, sorry I didn't get the house picked up, I will help you later this evening."
*When you feel your child is able to stay home alone, make sure you go over the "what ifs" and what to do in an emergency! (no, we have not let one of our kids be home alone yet!)
