HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!
I am here to wish each and everyone of you a Happy Mother's Day!
My Mother's Day so far has been a bit, well, I'm a brat! So, this morning, I woke up to my wonderful family climbing on me with hugs and kisses and Mother's Day wishes! I had a feeling Aaron had not "done" anything for Mother's Day, so I whispered to Jonathan to climb up into the "candy" cupboard and he would find chocolate. He found ALL of it and brought it to me! We are talking two bags of Mars Bar Candies, and two boxes of Russel Stover's (can't pass up the great deals I got on it all yesterday).
He also went down to the truck and got his backpack full of Mother's Day wishes! Inside...a handmade box with decoupage with a letter inside that reads, "Happy mother's Day! I love you! You are the best mom ever! Cose (cause) you play game with me! You love me more then I do! (Meaning...you love me more then I love you) from Jonathan!" He also made a booklet titled, "My Mom Has Many Jobs." Pictures accompany each sentence on each page HIS words are in caps...She is a cook. I love when she makes QUESADILLAS! She is a doctor. She makes me feel better when SHE PLAYS GAMES WITH ME. My mom is a repair person. She fixed my BED. She is a chauffeur. She drives me to THE MALL. She is a housekeeper. She helps me clean MY ROOM. She is a teacher. She taught me to STASAFE (stay safe). Thank you for all you do for me. I love you very much! YOU ARE THE BEST FROM JONATHAN.
Yes, I cried! I love his sweet heart and he obviously LOVES playing games with his momma!
So, the brat part...on the way home from church, I told Aaron I was disappointed he didn't even make me a card or anything! Well, to my surprise, I RUINED his surprise! He and the kids had planned all along to come and surprise me for dinner at work tonight! Therefore, my Mother's day post...
