Security

In our day to day life, we look for security in many forms. Perhaps it's found in your husband/wife, friend, job, money, new things, what kind of car you drive? The list can go on. For our three year old, it is mommy or daddy. She clings to us to fall asleep and then when she does wake up anytime after 3 hours of sleep, she clings to us in our bed holding onto security.

There is a piece of me that is so frustrated with this! However, if God is our Abba, Father, oh how tightly we should cling to Him for our security! When things get scary, I cling harder then ever to my Father for security. Is my daughter no different then I?
