Computers Down...
At my work over the weekend and posisibly still now, our computers were down. Mind you, I work in a hospital with paperless charting! Needless to say, that was not the case this weekend. EVERYTHING was on paper and man the work it created! I think at one moment, it took me 45 minutes just to thumb through and organize all the papers on my desk...orders, flow sheets, MARs, progress notes...
That said, think of this, what if ALL the computers EVERYWHERE did go down? What would life be like? Oh my, NO Facebook, twitter, or blogging...how would we communicate?
